Mt. Lumot is a high point of the larger Mt. Sumagaya massif in the Balatucan Range, Misamis Oriental, known locally as the 'Mountain of Souls' after the 1998 crash of Cebu Pacific Flight 387 on its slopes. Its mossy forests and streams have since made it an emerging hiking destination near Gingoog City.
